At 16 years old, Nibbler has earned the right to be a little particular.

When she arrived at June’s from the Rio Rancho shelter, she was missing patches of fur. Our veterinary team determined that allergies were likely to blame, and we’ve worked hard to help her feel comfortable and healthy. Unfortunately, Nibbler has her own opinions about treatment—especially when it comes to food. While hypoallergenic diets could help her allergies, Nibbler has made it abundantly clear that she has no interest in eating them. Like many senior cats, she knows exactly what she likes and isn’t easily persuaded otherwise!

Nibbler’s ideal day is simple: a cozy bed, a sunny spot, and a peaceful view of her world. While she enjoys human companionship, she’s not especially fond of sharing her space with other cats. Rather than joining in the hustle and bustle, Nibbler prefers her own quiet corner where she can relax and observe life at her own pace.
