When Diana arrived at June’s in 2021, her world had just been turned upside down. She came to us through our Legacy Program alongside three other cats after her owner passed away in his sleep. In an instant, everything familiar was gone—but like another princess, Diana brought with her a quiet resilience and a deep capacity for love.

These days, Diana has settled into a softer rhythm of life, one revolving around comfort, companionship, and plenty of naps. A true lap cat at heart, Diana is the first to curl up in our founder Janet’s lap—and the last to leave. Whether it’s an afternoon doze or a cozy evening on the couch, Diana is never far, content just to be close.

With her black-and-white coat and perfectly imperfect lopsided mustache, Diana has a look that’s as unique as her personality. There’s something quietly charming about her—she doesn’t demand attention, but she always seems to receive it.

Diana may not ask for much, but she deserves everything.

As a senior cat, Diana does need a little extra care. She has kidney disease and receives subcutaneous fluids twice a week to help her feel her best. She also has arthritis, managed with regular medication and occasional shots to keep her comfortable. Thanks to this care—and the love she’s surrounded by—Diana continues to enjoy her days, one cozy nap at a time.
