If you are a private citizen and need to surrender your cat, please complete the Waitlist Request Form. Completing the form does not guarantee your cat a space in our organization. We are a limited admission facility and can only accept animals based on space availability and are currently focusing on cats facing euthanasia in shelters. Because of this, we are unable to estimate when we can take your cat into our organization. We encourage seeking alternate options for rehoming your cat.

To be eligible for our program, you must show that your cat:

• Is ten years old or older
• Has been spayed or neutered
• Is up to date on vaccines, with verifiable records
• Is negative for FELV, with verifiable records
• Is in good health
• Can get along with other cats without aggression

Please understand that if we accept your cat, we require a mandatory surrender fee to cover part of the cost of care and potential placement of your cat. You must sign an owner surrender form, giving us full custody of your cat.

Surrender Fees

Surrender fees help cover the cost of food, daily care, and any medical care that may be required.

• $250 surrender fee for a cat with no medical issues
• $350 surrender fee for a cat with known medical issues, e.g., kidney disease
• $450 surrender fee for a cat with a known medical issue that requires daily medication and ongoing medical care, e.g. diabetes or hyperthyroidism
