Leave a Legacy and Support Senior Cats
Your estate gift may be your most powerful act of love.
Bequests and other planned donations can be the largest, most life-saving gifts June’s Senior Cat Rescue receives. We depend on these selfless gifts for our survival.
Including June’s Senior Cat Rescue in your plans today will mean life and hope for the cats of tomorrow.
Ways to Give
There are many ways to design a charitable bequest in your will or trust agreement. These may include:
- A residual bequest, which provides all or a percentage of your estate to June’s Senior Cat Rescue after all other bequests, debts, taxes and expenses have been distributed.
- A contingent bequest, which provides all or a portion of your estate to June’s Senior Cat Rescue if circumstances make it impossible to carry out your primary provisions (as when your spouse or other heirs do not survive you).
- A specific bequest to June’s Senior Cat Rescue, which provides a specific dollar amount, percentage of your estate, or piece of property.
We recommend discussing your options with an attorney or financial advisor when updating your will or beneficiary designations.

To get started on your plans and legacy, work with your attorney or estate planner and document your wishes in your will.
You can also name June’s Senior Cat Rescue as a beneficiary of all or a portion of:
- Your life insurance policy
- Your retirement assets, including your IRA, 401k, 401b, or pension
You can designate June’s Senior Cat Rescue as the recipient of a specific investment account by establishing a transfer or successor upon death. These may include:
- Stocks, bonds, or mutual funds
- CDs, money market, savings, or checking accounts
- Name June’s Senior Cat Rescue as the successor of your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
